Our research grouped has been renamed from Theoretical Computer Science to Data-Intensive Algorithms. We did this because the new name describes more clearly what we do: we are interested in fundamental and computational aspects of dealing with large amounts of data.

We maintain our affinity with Theoretical Computer Science though, since many of the methods we use and develop are firmly rooted in theory. What the new name should convey better is that our focus is not purely theoretical, but we are also interested in practical aspects.
